Many people think it is acceptable to offer people money to participate in research. currently, researchers are allowed to pay research subjects an amount of money that is based on the research study's time and inconvenience.
OFFERING INCENTIVES FOR RESEARCH PARTICIPATION
Some study subjects participate in research simply for the money. Recent articles about "guinea-pigging" point out that there is now a cottage industry of "professional" research subjects who choose to participate in multiple clinical trials, one after the other, solely for financial gain.
